Protein Description
GM-CSF is a hematopoietic growth factor that promotes the development of neutrophils and macrophages, as well as early erythroid megalogues and eosinophilic progenitors cell proliferation and development. It is produced by endothelial cells, monocytes, fibroblasts and T lymphocytes. GM-CSF inhibits the migration of neutrophils shift and enhance the functional activity of mature terminal cells. The human and mouse molecules are species-specific and do not exhibit cross-species reactivity.
